Dr. Bowen earned his medical degree from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in Iowa before completing his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Legacy Health Portland Hospitals and Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon, in 2008.

Dr. Bowen worked for a multispecialty clinic for several years before opening his own practice in July 2012. He works diligently to regain and maximize function to the foot and ankle to help patients maintain an active lifestyle.

Dr. Bowen offers conservative and surgical options for various ailments and conditions of the foot and ankle, such as arch pain and heel pain, arthritis, trauma and fractures, tendon ruptures, bunions, deformity, neuroma pain, pes planus (flat foot), nail and skin disorders, and soft tissue masses. He performs surgeries at the Legacy Health and Providence Health & Services Hospitals in Portland, Oregon.

Active in his field, Dr. Bowen is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Bowen is renowned for his compassionate and friendly manner and timely service. When he isn’t improving the health of others, Dr. Bowen enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing the guitar, and traveling.
